IPX Series Endpoints feature integrated amplifiers that combine and convert the signal from the Ethernet cable and power from the PoE/PoE+ switch into output power that drives the attached speaker via the onboard amplifier. A PoE+ IP enabled endpoint speaker will thus have the ability to generate more output than a PoE IP enabled endpoint speaker and can cover much greater areas or overcome higher noise levels to ensure messaging is heard intelligibly. Furthermore, network bandwidth required for these Endpoints is no more than a standard VoIP phone.
