Phoenix, AZ – A proven solution for mass communications, the IPX Family of IP Endpoints from AtlasIED was recently honored as an ISE 2020 Best of Show award winner from Installation magazine (a Future publication). The IPX Family of Endpoints provides a wide range of industries with an effective, reliable, and versatile solution for mass communications needs. Providing both audible and visual notifications through speakers and visual displays, the IPX Family of Endpoints is ideally suited for education, healthcare, transportation, industrial and corporate environments.
"We are exceptionally proud to be selected as an ISE 2020 Best of Show award winner by Installation magazine and to be recognized for our industry-leading IP, PoE, and VoIP solutions," says AtlasIED President and CEO John Ivey. "Our IPX Family of Endpoints are not only easy to install, but they can play a critical role in maintaining safe work environments and public spaces today. Available for projects worldwide, the system takes full advantage of existing voice and data networks while preserving the convenience of VoIP phones to cover important areas that a VoIP handset alone cannot."
The IPX Family of Endpoints can be used for both general paging and emergency alerts, thanks to several key features. For example, the colors of the IP Endpoint flasher, as well as the text and background colors of the IP Endpoint display, can be modified to provide visual cues to the priority of the message and to differentiate general notifications from emergency alerts. Additionally, the brightness of the display can be adjusted for enhanced viewing, and improvements to IP Endpoint Acoustic Echo Canceller (AEC) provides exceptional intelligibility of SIP and intercom calls.
The addition of AtlasIED's IPX Family of Endpoints expands a facility's existing VoIP and SIP communications systems by providing greater coverage than traditional handset-based systems. Through a Unified Communications (UC) environment or the AtlasIED GLOBALCOM.IP ecosystem, the IPX Series delivers smart automation, including pre-programmed notifications for common functions like bells and critical alerts. A comprehensive library of pre-recorded messages is available through GLOBALCOM.IP or .EDU, which can be broadcast across the facility or directed to specific zones.
The IPX Family uses existing IT infrastructure for convenience and cost-savings and offers Auto Provisioning once it is on the network. "Talk To Me" Interoperability ensures the IPX units can work within any VoIP system, as they are open-platform engineered to communicate and be controlled by the top-selling providers of Unified Communications software platforms and standard SIP PBX systems.
