The Position

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for all aspects of outside sales, meeting regional company and territory goals, and is the face of the company in the territory.  This individual will work directly with partners, integrators, resellers, and customers and reports to the Vice President of Sales. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining business relationships with targeted channel resellers and working with them to build a plan to ensure their success with and adoption of AtlasIED products in their projects. The RSM will also build and maintain relationships with end customers to drive preference of AtlasIED products in projects, be a best practices resource for the users of our solutions, and ensure projects are connected properly to AtlasIED resellers. This position manages a regional Manufacturer Rep Firm.  

Position is Remote - must be located in the territory, ideally in Colorado or Utah.


Essential Functions

  • Responsible for the sales of AtlasIED products in assigned territory.  Will monitor customer preferences to determine the focus of sales efforts with sales leadership. 
  • Advise integrators on policies and operating procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of business.
  • Responsible for setting up demonstrations in reseller and customer facilities and fully presenting the appropriate solution.
  • Responsible for the administration of programs, promotions, and the acceptance of orders for resellers. Will work to resolve customer issues the best possible outcome and customer satisfaction.     
  • Coordinate with the design team to provide detailed quotations and technical documentation.
  • Review field activity and CRM reports to project sales (forecast).
  • Represent company at trade shows to promote products and travel the area assigned to service resellers and customers in the region.
  • Meet with potential customers regarding solution needs and advise on types of equipment to purchase.
  • Oversee regional sales representative firms, providing support to ensure their success. Provide product training as necessary and maintain regular communication about all AtlasIED promotions, expectations, and relevant corporate information.
  • Identify growth opportunities within the territory and grow AtlasIED sales through new and existing channel partners.  
  • Confer or consult with internal teams to secure information required to meet project specifications customer expectations. 
  • Maintain regular organizational and activity oriented comments in CRM. Leverage CRM for all sales related tasks.
  • Collaborate with other RSMs and business development managers to discuss challenges and successes throughout the country and promote a team brain trust mentality to help everyone find success.

Essential Tasks

  • Advise certified integrators and dealers on policies and operating procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of business. 
  • Confer or consult with project management, engineers and software development team to secure information required to meet project specifications customer expectations.   
  • Must be able to provide special consideration to special orders as well as special needs of certified integrators and dealers.   


Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Some college or technical training desired
  • Training and/or certification for Audio Video Systems Integration, Networking and related education from SydAudCon, AES, InfoComm preferred.
  • Three or more years commercial audio, manufacturing, sales representative, retail and/or contracting experience required

Skills

  • Audio experience required
  • Basic networking knowledge preferred
  • Technically oriented and able to train others
  • Must have excellent phone and good information retention skills  
  • Proven negotiation ability – retain profitability for MiTek/AtlasIED   
  • Ability to maintain company or personal credit card
